Today, I am going to share some truths with you about what you should be doing to get your start. Here are the simple steps to getting started.

  1. Choose one platform and learn it inside and out. Facebook is the primary social platform individuals and businesses seem to love, but it pays to learn one inside and out before you move onto the next. Facebook is easy to use, but it has some complex features. Learn it from step one, and as you study it do not skip even the most basic of features. They are all important. Study the business manager feature, how to run ads, and watch YouTube videos if it helps you understand it better. Take it one step at a time to make sure that you fully understand it before you move onto the next feature.
  2. Attend as MANY webinars as possible. Experts in social media hold webinars on a regular basis, and there are numerous resources available with some offering recorded webinars on a consistent basis. It depends on who you are following. Research those who teach on social media and you’ll find your options in Google. Research until you find someone you connect with, and then access their information. Most experts offer downloadable PDF’s, as well as EBooks for free or a minimal fee. Either way, you’re sure to find useful information to help get you the training you need.
  3. Market yourself for at least ONE hour a day. Your business depends on you, so this means that you’ll need to put the time and effort in. Just one hour a day, and plan it ahead of time. If you plan ahead, you’ll get more out of your hour, and you’ll get results faster.

There are many methods that you can use to getting results and building your team, but social media is a cornerstone of your business.
