One of the most popular questions I get is, “Do you love marketing?”

Yeah, I do.

Here’s why.

It’s much easier to market products or services for a commission than it is to work for someone else by the hour.

This is why I absolutely love what I do.

It’s nothing like trading hours for dollars. You may not see it that way, and this is okay.

You don’t have to view things the same way I do. Life would be boring if we all viewed life the same way, right?

Why I Love Marketing More Than Anything

Have you heard the name Danny Inny?

He’s the CEO of Mirasee. I like what he says about this topic of trading dollars for hours.

He makes a good point when he says, “Time is finite, so when you trade time for money, you cap your income.”

How can this be true?

Think of it this way. Your earnings are determined by the number of hours you work.

Therefore, when you build your own business, you will get out of it what you put into it.

This is true regardless of which business you choose. You could choose to sell makeup, apparel, skincare, or even signs.

Whatever you choose, you have the ability to create the lifestyle you desire, and this includes the amount of income you earn.

This is why I love marketing.

Every day is different, and every product or service you promote to earn commissions is different.

You’ll find that no two people do business the same way, nor do they earn the same amount of money.

This is because they are getting out of what they put into it.

Here are some tips to help you learn more about online marketing and how to build your business online.

  1. Attend webinars and conferences when possible. Even if you have some experience, education is always on your side. You can never learn too much about how to market a product or service. Don’t be fooled into thinking that you cannot learn something new. Attend webinars when possible. These are free and you can attend online in the comfort of your own home. Conferences will cost you, but if you can attend, make it a priority to do so. Getting to a conference with someone notable that teaches valuable skills on how to build a business online will benefit tremendously.
  2. Read books on marketing and new marketing trends and resources. There is nothing more important than taking the time to read a good book that can teach you valuable marketing skills. Set a goal to read a book a month, or if you are an avid reader, you may read one per week or every two weeks. Focus on learning more about marketing trends and what works. The more you read, the more you will learn.
  3. Implement what you learn, one day at a time. So, Danny Inny is a great guy and he makes awesome recommendations in his articles and email marketing. He offers valuable advice and recommendations for those who desire to be their own boss and learn more about how to build a business online. When you learn a new skill or someone gives you a valuable tip, implement it. Don’t sit back on your laurels and wait. Take the time to use the skills necessary to build an online business. The sooner you do this, the sooner you’ll begin increasing your income.

There is no time like the present. If you want to love marketing, start learning something about it.
